MACP. Candidate with Transitions Learning Centre

You or someone you know may be feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that are difficult to shift. Perhaps you find yourself avoiding certain emotions, struggling with the impact of past experiences, or feeling stuck in relationships or in your sense of self. Even when things appear manageable on the surface, there can be an underlying sense that something isn’t fully resolved.

I take a relational and experiential approach to therapy, working collaboratively with clients to explore both present-moment experiences and the deeper patterns that shape them. My practice is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), as well as elements of Gestalt and Narrative Therapy. This means that, in addition to talking through challenges, we may also focus on how emotions show up in the body, gently identify patterns as they emerge in session, and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I have experience working with youth, young adults, and adults, supporting concerns such as trauma, intergenerational trauma, emotional regulation, identity exploration, and relational difficulties. I also work with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and Autism, and strive to create a space that is flexible, collaborative, and responsive to different ways of thinking, processing, and communicating. Together, we can adapt the pace and structure of sessions to support your needs, whether that means working more concretely, building emotional awareness over time, or finding strategies that feel sustainable and affirming.

As a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, I bring both professional training and lived understanding of how identity, culture, and systems of power can shape our experiences of mental health and relationships. I approach this work through an intersectional lens, recognizing that each person’s story is influenced by multiple, overlapping aspects of identity. I strive to create a space that is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect for your lived experience. Alongside my clinical training, I bring experience working in Action Therapy, where cultural connection, experiential work, and holistic healing are central. I aim to balance professionalism with authenticity, offering a space where clients feel both supported and appropriately challenged in their growth. My approach is grounded, attentive, and adaptable to each individual’s needs and pace. If you are seeking a therapist to support you in developing greater insight, emotional connection, and meaningful change, I welcome you to reach out to see if we may be a good fit.
